Christine McCallum – Podiatrist in Carousel

Christine is a Podiatrist, Barefoot Rehabilitation Specialist, Remedial Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer.

Christine prides herself in being able to combine both traditional and alternative podiatry treatments to achieve the best results for her clients. Her approach is to work with the client to find the best management plan that suits their needs and lifestyle. She does this through the use of myofascial release, soft tissue therapy, dry needling and rehabilitation exercise prescription just to name a few.

Christine is also a Barefoot training & Rehabilitation Practitioner. The focus of this practice is to strengthen the muscles in the feet and legs, treat foot pain and improve foot biomechanics. This is suitable for all ages, fitness levels and stages of foot pain. It doesn’t have to the only solution, you can use it to help with wearing orthotics! Whether its a group class or private consultation, Christine can assist from the ground up.

Christine can also help you with any general podiatry needs including nail surgery and plantar wart treatment.

Grace Wan – Podiatrist in Cambridge, Carousel & East Fremantle

Grace graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2018 with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine with Distinction and was awarded the Dean’s Prize in Podiatric Medicine. Prior to this, Grace also completed a Bachelor of Science specialising in Biomedical Science (Pathology and Laboratory Medicine) from the same university.

Since graduating, Grace has further developed her training and is skilled in providing dry needling, electroacupuncture, joint mobilisation, Swift therapy, and shock wave therapy. She has a keen interest in all aspects of podiatry, especially in the treatment of ingrown toenails (conservative and surgical), musculoskeletal conditions, and the management of patients with chronic condition such as diabetes.

In her spare time, Grace enjoys indoor rock-climbing and visiting local cafes. Grace would love to assist you with any podiatric needs and will strive to help you achieve your treatment goals.

Michelle Chi – Podiatrist in Carousel, Wembley

Michelle graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia. She enjoys treating patients in all aspects of podiatry including general foot and nail care, biomechanics and diabetic foot care.

Michelle believes healthy feet equals a happy life. She loves her job as a podiatrist and helping patients achieve pain-free feet.

David Handojo – Podiatrist in Carousel, Rivervale & Thornlie

David graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2019 from the University of Western Australia. He has had clinical placements in various private clinics as well as in hospitals working in a multidisciplinary team setting.

David has an appreciation for all aspects of podiatry but has interests in biomechanics and the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, as well as management of diabetic feet. He would love to help you out with any podiatric issues!

Veronica Lee – Podiatrist in Carousel & Carlisle

Veronica graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2019 with a Bachelor of Podiatry, after completing Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Bachelor of Health Studies.

She pursued Podiatry as a career because of the vital role of our feet in our life. She is an enthusiastic health professional who loves to get to know her patients and deliver a holistic care approach. She believes that listening and understanding of other aspects of a patient’s life can contribute to an effective delivery of podiatry care. She enjoys working in all aspects of Podiatry, with special interest in diabetic foot care and sports biomechanics.

Veronica also had valuable internship experience at private Podiatry clinic situated in a high-end and expats-oriented area in Malaysia, for a total of 8 months which she misses so much. She hopes that one day, she will return to her country and hometown to provide Podiatry services and to raise more awareness to the community what Podiatry can offer.

Outside of Podiatry, she enjoys cooking new recipes, a foodie who loves exploring new foods with her loved ones, shopping, participating and volunteering in church activities.

On the other hand, she can also communicate in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Annalise Hunt – Receptionist

Anna is our friendly receptionist here at Carousel Podiatry, born in New Zealand, Anna moved to Perth in 2012 with her grandparents. She is a very social person and prefers being outdoors in the warmer weather. Anna spends her free time at the beach, cafes with friends or Tutti Frutti (where you can make your own ice cream and have toppings of your choice)!

Anna loves that she works in a vibrant Podiatry clinic with over a handful of amazing and skill full podiatrists that are always able to provide you with extra information and quality care. She loves to see the positive impact that Podiatry contributes to each patient lives, to improve their health outcomes, to be pain-free and to be active again.

Sarah Hitchcock – Receptionist

Sarah was born and raised in Perth and joined our team in 2020. Sarah is currently at University studying her Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching. In her spare time Sarah enjoys listening to music, being social and spending time with friends and family.

Sarah enjoys working alongside our skilled and knowledgeable podiatrists and assisting them throughout the day. Sarah will often get curious and ask the podiatrist’s questions about different aspects of podiatry, gaining more of an insight into what they do and how they help you.

Sarah likes coming to work in an environment that is positive and welcoming for not only the patients but for other colleagues as well. Sarah loves listening to stories about your personal lives, whether they be stories from your past, present or future. Sarah is grateful to be part of a team where we get to make a positive difference and help each patient to improve their health and become pain free.

Lauren Brierley – Receptionist

Lauren was born and raised in Perth and has been a receptionist with us since 2018. Lauren has a passion for well-being and life balances. Outside of work, you can usually find her somewhere quiet and relaxing – usually at home binge watching Netflix!

Lauren really enjoys working in our clinic as she gets to meet all our lovely patients and help them feel better! It is really rewarding to see people walking out of their appointments with a smile on their faces & knowing that we have been able to help them to the best of our ability.
